New Car Sales Decline In March

The registration of new vehicles is again down on the same time in 2010, the number of vehicles recorded is around 8% lower than was expected.

Experts have said that last years figures were swayed by the discounted scrappage scheme that governments in the UK and across Europe had put in place to help kick start the automotive sectors recovery from the recession.

Since the scrappage scheme was introduced many people have had their eyes opened to the benefits of using scrappage companies to prevent the headache that can be scrapping a car. Many companies are available but some will not offer money in exchange for your vehicle and may even charge you to take it away.

A simple search in Google using terms such as ‘vehicle collection South East London’ can open a world of options. Some companies will offer you money and even free vehicle collection.

Remember to make sure that if scrapping your vehicle you receive an End of Life Vehicle certificate (ELV), this certifies that it has been disposed of according to EU and Environmental Agency legislations and not just dumped. A breaker must be accredited by both Local Councils and Environmental Agencies to authorise these certificates.

Companies like Scrap-Car.co.uk recieve hundreds of requests every day ranging from BMW to Mitsubishi scrap cars and work in a network of breakers giving local coverage throughout the UK ,meaning that you can get your car disposed of within 24 hours of filling in a simple online form.
