The Japanese conglomerate have said they will be placing more time and investments into their online marketing, something that has helped German manufacturer Audi oust BMW as the most requested lease car.

Mitsubishi work with a network of companies to establish their online presence, however working with just one SEO company can all a small or medium sized business needs. SEO companies work with website content so Google and other search engines recognise and index it, in turn moving the site up search engines results pages and allowing it to be seen my more users.

The most popular method is through Google, which accounts for over 75% of all online searches and is the market leader in all but five countries worldwide. The availability of online advertising has also played a huge part in the increasing demand for SEO experts and people who can adapt websites and content to get the most out of it.

Asian manufacturers have cashed in on the rising popularity of scrap car culture in Britain with sales of South Korean vehicles all up by more than 50%.

Figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) have revealed that sales in Hyundai is up by more than 200% on sales before the scrappage scheme. Kia’s have risen by more then 60% also, making Asian manufacturers the biggest selling in the UK.

British manufacturers such as Mini, Jaguar and Land Rover have seen less success as a result of the scheme with down by 12%, 31% and 10% respectively.

Since the end of the scheme scrapping cars has become a popular way of getting rid of old vehicles that are not fit for the road and also to raise money to buy a new one.

Online services such as scrap car work with a network of accredited breakers and scrap yards to dispose of your vehicle quickly and easily. Working with accredited firms means we can guarantee that your vehicle will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

A simple search on Google will bring up a huge selection of firms willing to give you money for your vehicle, but many will not offer free vehicle collection as well as a cash payment. Once your vehicle has been scrapped you can also claim back any unused tax by downloading a V14 form directly from the DVLA site. However make sure that you all the appropriate documentation, such as ELV certification when applying for this.

Thieves Target Mitsubishi For Scrap

Police have revealed that a growing trend amongst thieves is to steal the catalytic convertors from Mitsubishi vehicles.

The booming scrap car market has lead to the part fetching up to £200 when sold on, the device is typically made up of valuable metals platinum, palladium or rhodium which act as the catalyst when reducing the pollution in exhaust fumes.

The convertor which is around 10-18inches long can be removed from the under carriage of the car in seconds using a battery powered saw.

The trend appears to have started in America with insurance companies reporting at least one theft a day involving catalytic convertors.

When looking for a scrap car or scrap car parts it’s important to check that the dealer you are using is licensed and not using stolen or faulty parts. Services such as Scrap-Car only use registered breakers and can even dispose of your vehicle if required.

Most car scrappage companies will only offer users the option of free vehicle collection or a set payment for the car, Scrap-Car offers both free collection and an online bidding service where breakers will bid on your vehicle, making sure you get the best price available.

New Car Sales Decline In March

The registration of new vehicles is again down on the same time in 2010, the number of vehicles recorded is around 8% lower than was expected.

Experts have said that last years figures were swayed by the discounted scrappage scheme that governments in the UK and across Europe had put in place to help kick start the automotive sectors recovery from the recession.

Since the scrappage scheme was introduced many people have had their eyes opened to the benefits of using scrappage companies to prevent the headache that can be scrapping a car. Many companies are available but some will not offer money in exchange for your vehicle and may even charge you to take it away.

A simple search in Google using terms such as ‘vehicle collection South East London’ can open a world of options. Some companies will offer you money and even free vehicle collection.

Remember to make sure that if scrapping your vehicle you receive an End of Life Vehicle certificate (ELV), this certifies that it has been disposed of according to EU and Environmental Agency legislations and not just dumped. A breaker must be accredited by both Local Councils and Environmental Agencies to authorise these certificates.

Companies like Scrap-Car.co.uk recieve hundreds of requests every day ranging from BMW to Mitsubishi scrap cars and work in a network of breakers giving local coverage throughout the UK ,meaning that you can get your car disposed of within 24 hours of filling in a simple online form.

The Mitsubishi Colt could now be described as a piece of automotive history since its introduction nearly 50 years ago.

Since its seventh and most recent facelift the Colt has increased in sales by nearly 50%. With a choice of three petrol engines the Colt has an options for almost every need.

Mitsubishi Colt contract hire has become a lot more popular over the past few years, the flexibility and range of finance options means that you have more say in how and what you pay than a traditional finance payment scheme.

Personal Contract Purchases (PCP) are one of the major factors behind contract hire. Payments are structured around the resalable value of the car and you have the option at the end of the leasing agreement to purchase the vehicle. As most leasing deals include services and minor repairs this gives a lot more flexibility than taking out a finance option.

The allure of a Business Hire Contract is also an attractive one, as a registered business you are entitled to claim back as much as 50% VAT.

Industry professional do recommend that you explore as many options as possible when leasing vehicles as certain companies do offer more benefits that others.

Mitsubishi vehicles with salvage titles are those that are written off by the insurance company. Mostly of the time, such vehicles are auctioned off to dealers and private buyers. Dealers typically buy the workable auto parts or those that can be refurbished. Private buyers, including the owner of the car can buy the Mitsubishi to fix it and make it road worthy. Such a road worthy car will have to be first assessed by authorities to deem it safe to be driven on the road. The individual buying the car from the Mitsubishi auto salvage auction can also decide to sell the refurbished car at a profit.

To bid at a Mitsubishi car salvage auction you may have to go through a third party or a broker. The broker can put you in touch with many salvage auctions where the Mitsubishi models are being auctioned. You can also get relevant information such as the extent of vehicle damage and possible road worthiness of the vehicle once you refurbish it. If you wish, you can refurbish and modify it into your dream car. The least you can do is use the auto parts that are still in good working condition or even sell them. The possibilities are many and with some careful planning, you can get yourself a good Mitsubishi auto salvage deal.

When choosing the right car salvage project you need to understand the resale prices and demand for the vehicle once it is fully repaired and back on the road. You certainly do not want the vehicle to be reducing in price quicker than you are able to repair it, and then for it to remain unsold.

With Mitsubishi’s this is not just black and white as some models are very desirable and others not so when choosing your car salvage project you need not just to know the brand name but each model and derivatives too. Take the pick ups for example, these are not cheap and are highly in demand, so if you are looking for Mitsubishi salvage this may be the place to start. However parts are not easy to find, so make sure you know what you want and where to it before you finalise the sale.

Some basic family and small hatchbacks, this is not the same. You will need to buy your salvage much cheaper than resalable amount in order to get a return and make sure residual values are holding also. Parts on the other hand will be cheaper and easer to find, so it is a weighing proposition.

Mitsubishi has a keen interest in renewable energy as its iMiEV vehicle has shown, the development will also bring hundreds of jobs to the area.

Chief Executive Akio Fukui said that the company was looking at a number of sites in the region was reckoning on a timescale of around three years for the prototype. before mass production a year later.

The scheme which will be the first in the world to produce wind turbines of this size on a commercial scale was described by Tom Delay, CEO of the government backed Carbon Trust as:

a massive vote of confidence in the UK’s renewable sector. We are clearly now open for business and, importantly, we are now winning business. The green manufacturing revolution is now becoming a reality."

Environmentalists have said that the Mitsubishi announcement is especially notable as they are currently one of the biggest atomic engineering companies in the world, a spokesperson for Greenpeace said:

"If the market wanted a clear signal on which way the UK energy sector is moving, the manufacturer of the world’s biggest nuclear reactors has just sent it – and the answer is wind."
